This is a haiku by Marco Alessi.

Earlier this month I wrote music for meditation in response to the Disquiet Junto Project 0323. Meditation Class is similar in that I am once again writing music for meditation despite the fact that I do not meditate, so I do not really know what may or may not work for meditation. The idea here is similar to that piece in that a drone is derived from a chord, though the chord in this case is Am11 and I have expanded the orchestration.

Meditation Class is written for Flute, Alto Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Trombone, Bass Trombone, Vibraphone, two Violins, and two Cellos.
